Last Day in the MTC

MY LAST DAY AT THE MTC

Letter from Rylee,
It is my last day at the MTC. We are having a lot of training today. Every hour has a different training meeting. We are leaving for Birmingham tomorrow at 6 AM. It takes us 2 hrs to get there and then we are going to meet our president and go to our area. There are about 15, I would say (I’m not positive) that are going to Birmingham. So it’s a pretty large group. But I'm excited but kind of nervous to go out and do it for real. I feel like I have learned a lot but I could still learn so much more. The other night we watched a Devotional with Elder Holland about "Feed my sheep" it was the most amazing talk I have ever heard. It has been amazing to be here at the MTC with everyone. I love everyone so much and I am going to miss everyone. I love that we had a small group and everyone knew everyone.

I Love you all, and hope you are having a great week. Please pray for me really hard this week that My Trainer is great :) and we get along and everything goes well. I'm very nervous and just anxious about not knowing what to expect. I love you so much!!! :)

Write me next week. Loves!!!!

Preston England MTC - Teaching on the streets

At the train station Headed out to teach
2nd Week In Preston England (MTC)

This week has been great we have had a lot of devotionals, I love my teachers they are so great. My district is hilarious!! I love them!!

Friday was an experience!!!! OH MY GOSH!!! We went out on the streets of Manchester for real!! Out in the real world. We went to Piccadilly.  It was hard; however I think I will get the hang of it soon.

On Sunday, We went on a tour of all the Historical sites!! It was awesome! I have a lot of pictures. It was so cool, there are so many sites where the first missionaries came. I saw where Pres. Hinckley's flat was. It was an amazing day, and to hear all the stories was crazy. Later that night we went to the temple. The temple is so close, I love it. While a group of us were there, Elder Ty Palmer (from high school), just walked over and I was freaking out!! What are the odds to see 2 friends on my mission, a week apart! It was crazy.  It was awesome to see him!

Love you all, thank you for the love and support!

Arrived in England

We Received an email from Rylee, She arrived safe in England. Here are a few things she mentioned in her first email:
Oh my goodness. It has been an adventure to say the least. It has been so stressful and crazy. I was assigned my first companion the first night here, Thursday night. I am with Sister Juarez she is from Argentina.  She speaks pretty good English. I love the mission Presidents so much, Brother and Sister Walker, and Brother and Sister Williams; they are the councilors. They are all amazing, and I love them.  We can all feel their love for us.

Leaving on a Jet Plane

February 8, 2012 - My Departure Day!! -
This post was composed by: (Mom)

This day came so fast! Thank you to everyone who made me feel so special and stopped by to say good-bye.

When I showed up to the airport there were so many leaving to go to the England missions.  It was so much fun to have all of us leaving at the same time.  Each one of us with our name tags on, luggage in hand and nervous smiles.... There were hugs, tears and many good-byes!!  I met Sister Turnbow, she is going to the same mission as I am.  What an exciting morning.

I am looking forward to my new adventure!!!
